Some Gladewater Customers Experiencing A Temporary Change in Their Water’s Clarity and Odor
Gladewater is dedicated to providing the best quality water we can. Recently, we’ve heard reports from some customers about changes in their water’s clarity and odor.
Please be advised that these issues will disappear soon and the water remains safe to drink. These changes are the temporary result of scheduled changes to Gladewater’s water treatment system, including maintenance flushing.
This work was necessary to ensure that Gladewater residents receive clean and healthy water and is a routine procedure within the water services industry. We estimate that the system will be fully flushed in 1-2 weeks.
Our responsibility is to ensure that the water we serve is safe and fresh. Although this procedure was necessary to ensure high quality water for all, we completely understand the inconvenience to some of our customers. Please be patient with us during our efforts to serve you better.
